Registration Information

Registration is open for the 2019-2020 season.  Please use the link above to register.   

 The goal is to provide a 10 game season (weather permitting) with a summary below of each program offered through the NSYBL.  There are separate programs for boys & girls except for the 1st-2nd grade co-ed biddy basketball.     

Grades 1-2 (Boys & Girls) $100 

 A  9 week developmental clinic on Saturdays late morning (est time -11:30am but subject to change) in the PQ gym.  This program begins on January 4th, 2020.   We will be looking for a parent volunteer to run it with NSYBL guidance.  

 Grades ¾ (Boys & Girls) - $130

One weeknight practice (determined and communicated by your coach after evaluations) and a Saturday morning game beginning at 8:30, 9:30 or 10:30 am in the PQ gym (depending on # of teams formed)

 Grades 5/6 (Boys & Girls) - $130

One weeknight practice (determined and communicated by your coach after evaluations) and a Saturday morning/afternoon game in the MS/HS gyms.  For the 2019/2020 season:  the first game of the day will at 10:15 am to accommodate the varsity/jv practices scheduled earlier but for a number of weeks we may have earlier start times due to HS games scheduled in the NS gym.   

Grades 7/8 (Boys) - $150

Saturday afternoon games beginning around 1/1:30 in the MS/HS gyms on December 7th.    Will consider scheduling a weekly practice based on player interest. The NSYBL is looking for any parents willing to help with coordinating this division

Grades 7/8 (Girls) - $150

Saturday afternoon (1/1:30 in the MS/HS Gyms) beginning December 7th.  Will consider scheduling a weekly practice based on player interest. The NSYBL is looking for any parents willing to help with coordinating this division

HS (boys only)- $150

 No practice and a game on Saturday afternoon (Time estimate 2:30/3pm) in the MS/HS gyms beginning 12/7. 

Key Dates

November 16 - Player Evaluations

November 18 - First Day Practices permitted

December 7 - First Weekend of Games (all leagues)

December 14 – Tentative Picture day (Grades 1-6)

December 21 - School closed - no games

January 4 - Biddy Basketball begins

January 21 - MLK Weekend - Regularly scheduled games

Feb 15 – Gyms closed for winter break

March 2-7 - Championship Week (Playoffs –games played during the week)

The NSYBL has added a line in the registration process asking if you would like to make a contribution toward an end of the year scholarship award.  The NSYBL has had a long standing practice to provide scholarship awards to graduating seniors as a thank you for volunteering their time for refereeing and contributing to the program.  Please consider making a contribution.
